Grand Rapids Information
July 9 to 12, 2026 – Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI
For IBs, OBs, RBs, Rotex, IB and RB Parents and Rotarians – registration is currently closed.
Transportation – some students are traveling with parents. All other students are expected to take the bus.
Bus
Thursday, July 9 – 8 AM , Central Time – Bus will depart from The Howard Park & Ride in the Green Bay area, located at 1810 E Deerfield Ave/County RK, Howard WI (just northwest of I-41 and WIS 29) Please be at bus by 7:45 AM – we need to depart on time.
Sunday, July 12, Bus will depart Calvin College at 8:30 Eastern time and arrive at the Howard Park & Ride around 3 PM Central Time. Please keep your rides updated about arrival time as road conditions can affect drive time.
What to Bring
- Money: for lunch on way to and from conference (or bring a lunch). The bus will stop for fast food along the way. The Rotex store will be available at the conference
- The dress code is casual. It can be very warm in Grand Rapids in July, and air-conditioned meeting rooms can be cool, so bring layers.
- Toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc. The university provides towels for showering.
- Comfortable shoes! You will be walking everywhere, and although it’s not a huge campus, you need to be prepared.
- A fan, if you think the box fan in the room will not be sufficient.
- A fitted sheet if the flat sheet provided will not be sufficient
- Swim suit (olympic size pool)
- Soccer cleats if you have them- usually some soccer going on
- Rebounds and Inbounds: bring your Rotary blazers!
